Jamaicans stopped migrating to the UK in large numbers since before 1971, with most arriving before 1962. Anyone young enough to be engaged in crime was born in the UK as were their parents.

The chatter is about 2018 year to date. Murders in NYC have dropped while those in London have increased. As of last month I think it was almost neck and neck. Given that there are guns in NYC and guns make it easier to kill the fact that London this year is so close to NYC means that it must be a more violent city.
