Default Typical Monthly Utility bills in central london

If one were to rent a 2 bed-room flat, what would an approximate monthly utility bill (water, garbage collection, electricity/gas) look like?

The considerations are

a) Family of 3 - 2 adults and 1 toddler
b) Reasonably conservative usage of resources
c) Areas in question - ~ Fulham/Kensington/Hammersmith/Chelsea - surrounding areas

The number I'm asking for should EXCLUDE the council tax and the TV/Broadband/Cable. I'm not asking for some super accurate number - just a range/ballpark will do.

Thank you so much!

I can give you a rough idea based on a 2 bed town house - gas/electric £120 a month, water £25 a month and garbage (included with council tax) £100 a month (this figure will be changeable dependant on the band the property falls in and local council.

Something else you need to pay for is a TV license @ £15 a month if you have any equipment capable of viewing tv or dvd's/videos.

Rich - turn off the heating and switch off some lights! I'm in Yorkshire in a similar sized house and I'd have to kill myself if I paid £120 a month for gas/electric. I'm currently paying £40 a month for both, although I expect an increase in the near future.

Now I'm single and work full time so out of the house most of the day (plus I wear a jumper in the winter rather than crank the heating up to plutonium melting level - well, I am a Tyke!) but I think you need to swap suppliers

It's these southern types. They think nothing of washing their underpants after one use instead of turning them inside out and getting a second day out of them!

I have developed a five day switch-over routine, but don't ask me for it, because it is patent pending!
