Online shopping in London/Shopping behavior
Given that most Londoners don't have a car, what is your typical shopping behavior for a family? Do people buy bulk online? We are a family of 3 with a toddler, and I figured it would be best we do most purchases online and get them delivered.
What are the most popular/cost effective online shopping options? I checked there is Tesco and Sainsbury's, what else is out there that could be useful?
Appreciate your responses, as always.

I would never shop online for food. I love to feel and touch and go. I drive and people without cars who are buy a lot in my area tend to go back home via taxi...actually mini cabs and most supermarkets have a direct line to cab offices...no need to dial just pick up and they give you a number. Other than food I've started shopping more and more online for just about everything else.

Despite having a car in London (and Brighton) I always used Sainsbury's to You (online) to do the bulk of the shopping (family of 5 = a ton of stuff), about twice a month. They were very reliable, always on time, and offered a one-hour slot (Tesco's was a 2-hour slot, so you might be waiting in longer).
I would then shop at the local farmers market, or walk to our local shops/bakers/greengrocers etc for any extras and the more interesting items.
Ocado is also good, friends of mine swear by it, but I think it's pricey.
