Permits and In Ground Sprinkler Systems
Does anyone know if a permit is required for sprinklers? I checked the Town of North Hempstead website and it doesn't specifically say so; it just says 'plumbing' but I think they mean plumbing as in adding a bathroom. I didn't see any mention of sprinklers and permits.

I think you just need backflow certification. Not sure though.

Yes, we've done that every year. It's definitely an annual requirement. The water department sends out the notice when it's due. Thanks.
