According to the Census Bureau's online address search function, Panorama Drive is in Huntington Station ("Huntington, NY 11743" mailing address).

A map of the Hamlet of Huntington Station in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County:

The Hamlet of Huntington Station has a different border than does the "Huntington Station, NY 11746" ZIP Code postal zone (i.e., a place can have a "Huntington Station, NY 11746" mailing address and not be in the Hamlet of Huntington Station and a place can have other than a "Huntington Station, NY 11746" mailing address and be in the Hamlet of Huntington Station): places that have a "Huntington Station, NY 11746" mailing address that are not in the Hamlet of Huntington Station are in the Hamlet of Huntington, the Hamlet of South Huntington, the Hamlet of Greenlawn and the Hamlet of West Hills; and, at the same time, there are places in the Hamlet of Huntington Station with a "Huntington, NY 11743" and "Dix Hills, NY 11746" mailing address.

It's OK. Backs up to Home Depot on the one side. Not terrible, not great. Used to be great before the projects the other side of Home Depot, people still mostly the same there.

Default Nice

Panorama and the surrounding streets are all in a nice neighborhood. You are near the station, near a small mall and several shops, not far from the village.
It has always been a nice area and will stay that way. While it is close to the station area that has been in the news lately, none of that trouble ever comes close to it.
All the schools in the district are great, if you have kids they will get an excellent education. Lots of school sports, clubs and activities. Strong music and arts programs throughout K-12.

I'd say go for it.

Owner occupied homes - decent neighborhood.
Houses sell pretty quickly, unless they're a mess or grossly overpriced (nothing new there!). Several people in my office live in that neighborhood...
