there are no words.
Not doubting you...but can you please enlighten? Subway, walk or cab are all I can think of. Cabs are faster than subway yes, but they cost a fortune. I can't do that everyday!

Live in one of the boroughs and take the subway or an express bus.

The fact that we're not at that point yet is beyond me.

I wonder how bad it will ACTUALLY be, before someone has to step in and stop it.

I'll be gone long long before that ever happens.
I feel the same way about property taxes.

Come on, I doubt he asked anyone/everyone on board b/c I know for a fact many many people complain about the temperature of the cars. Is it really necessary? I could bring something to wear, yes, but for the price I pay I shouldn't have to. They should be more accomodating to their customers.
Interesting. I told the conductor the same thing one day because it really was FREEZING. Then the next day the car was very stuffy and barely had any A/C and I asked him why and he said he thought I was too cold. He said he would fix it and after we left Jamaica the A/C was turned on higher. He was trying to be nice, but I guess in this case he shouldn't have. I would rather be too cold than too hot, so I am just going to bring a sweater in my bag.

I'd rather be too hot. Meh. Everyone is different. I am very thin though so I get cold all the time...probably moreso than most people. I know I can't inconvenience everyone else but a happy medium would be nice instead of FREEZING all the time.

Yes, I think you got it. A letter or e-mail would probably help.
