this is so simple. If you bought it on 7/11 then it must be under mfgr warranty. Since the store won't help you then just call the manufacturer and get it replaced, and don't shop there anymore.

updates: I have contacted my credit card company. They will conduct an investigation which will take 6-8 weeks. Meanwhile they will withdraw the money for me. Thank you all!

Again, why are you going thru all this trouble? Just contact the manufacturer, they should send you a new camera and an RMA to return the defective one.

I already called credit card company as I saw your message. I am afraid it may be a little too late to do it now since the credit card company already started the investigation

Actually I noticed the problem much earlier and I waited a little because of the 30 day exchange policy.
