Deer out on the east end (military, eat, land)

I understand that there is a problem with controlling the deer population on LI. , my husband has been hunting for 20 + years, he is a veteran and a responsible hunter. He has been looking for a place to hunt on long island, other than public land to assist in culling the deer population. He suffers from IBS and can't eat beef since his return from military service. He found that venison is one of the few meats he can eat due to the low fat content. If anyone would like to contact me with any ideas of where can gain access to hunting, please do so. Thank you!
