I say Masorti even though most of you dont know what it means cause if I just say Conservative some folks will think I mean Jews against Obamacare, or whatever.
So any LI school district where the gentiles plus Reform and Orthodox and unaffiliated and Reconstructionist and Jewish Renewal Jews together are less than 50% of the population? Where Jews affiliated with Conservative synagogues (including USCJ affiliates, but also synagogues that call themselves conservative or Masorti but dont affiliate with USCJ) are the majorty? Surely, LI must have at least one?
I'm a Jew and even I'm confused by this one, but I'm hoping the OP is just parodying the other racist Long Island posts from the last day.
well one COULD read this and see how silly it is to ask for one denomination of Judaism, and so why jews tend to ask for jewish neighborhoods in general, while that is silly for christians to do.
OTOH if there IS a place with a majority of Conservative Jews (other than the inside of some CJ institution) , I would certainly be curious to know.
Oh Im sure there are some. But I am asking for a school district where affiliated Conservative Jews are over 50% of the population. I'd be very surprised if 5 towns fits that.

Considering the Orthodox send their kids to HAFTR and HALB and other private yeshivas, I wouldn't be surprised if Conservatives sent their kids to public schools.
