Anybody have an intercom system or telephone speaker system. We're trying to decide which to get for our new house. We don't want to have to yell or run up and down stairs to find the kids. Looking for feedback, recommendations, etc. Thanks

Take a look at these phones

Uniden 1580-5 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System | Staples®

They are very good. They have an intercom between them and you can just press a button and it will ring the other phone set of your choice throughout the house. I would definitely get phones over an intercom because with the phones, you can easily talk to each other (as you would with a phone) as opposed to an intercom system where you have to hold down the button...

I'm with Precious on this one...intercoms are obsolete these days when your house phone can do all that and more why would you need another system in the house?

DECT 6 phone have a very good reception and work through out the house and outside with no issues.
