I am thinking of moving to Massapequa and saw a few houses on Clark Avenue for sale. It looks like Clark is a main cross-street through both towns. I was just wondering if there is a lot of traffic or noise on Clark and if it is safe for kids to play outside on the front lawn. Thank you for your input!

Clark is pretty busy. I would avoid it if you have little kids or want quiet. It is a main connecting street between Massapequa and Massapequa Park.

Clark is not a typical 'side street' of Massapequa Park and it's similar to living on Park Blvd, in that it is a main street to get across the town. Your kids cannot play in the street like most of the streets in the town, but certainly it is safe to play on the front lawn.

I don't think you should have any issues with your kids playing on the front lawn, but it is fairly busy so you wouldn't want them playing in the street. it also depends on where. The areas further east on Park Blvd around Pacific Street, Atlantic Ave, etc are certainly far less busy than the areas around Park Blvd near the Massapequa Park train station,
