Anyone know the max height for a fence, front, side & back of a corner property in Nassau county might be? Or where I can find this info?

TIA

I believe each town/village has its own ordinance. In some you may not be able to fence a corner lot, at least with solid fencing.

Yes, if you live in a village, check with the village; if you live in a hamlet, check with the town (North Hempstead, Hempstead or Oyster Bay); and, if you live in a city check with the city (Glen Cove or Long Beach).

Rule of thumb..... 6 ft is usually the max.

You didn't state which Town/Hamlet/Village is applicable, so here's a link for all Municipalities in Nassau County. Scroll down to the bottom (Municipal Laws, Regulations and Codes) and click on the appropriate link. It may get you at least to the next step.

Government Laws, Regulations & Codes, County Charter and Administrative Code

BTW, in most areas, corner lots are restricted to 4ft heights for the portion of the property facing the streets (most likely because of visibility issues).

You'll need an 8 foot fence in Baldwin Harbor.
Oh, metal garbage cans work best if you want to deter the speeders on Grand Ave...Gotta have the timing right when you toss it in front of them though, you want it to cascade across the the front bumper past the windshiled. They are mostly drug dealers doing business in the park after hours, so toss the can out in front of them and bolt inside your house really quick. Good luck.
Oh one more thing, wood fencing is less likely to be graffitti'd on than pvc.

My bad. It's good to see in this day and age that there are some drug dealers who actually care about their job.
