ez C, you sure he was from pequas? Thought he was from Baldwin/originally Queens. huh.
Not sure why this thread put some people on the defensive from the get-go, it is not an attack on beaaaaauutiful Rocky Point, NY, I was always curious what people thought was too far out on LI. No fucco in the pequas, if anything it's the real deal.

You'll find a lot of fucco in Queens, Elmont, frankling square, nhp, floral park, bellerose. Rather see a little fuco than Nascar freaks, barney types from simpsons and mullets, jm2¢

yeah, I'm learning more from people on here and other sites that RP & Da P have a lot more in common than I thought. Maybe just a difference in collar colors btwn the 2. TBH, RP $ for $, looks like a good value, similar to the Riv, like its part of "the silver coast" of Suffolk w/ MP WR, Shoreham, SB etc..No offense on the silver, it's a compliment. a nice pocket in suffolk. I took a look at the listings, and def looks like some deals to be had there. I ain't moving to SUffolk though. LOL.

ps- one thing I noticed, kinda OT, why do some properties in RP come with 4k taxes and other 9k, about similar price range. That's almost unheard of in most of Nassau. (those swings)

Love it.

Indeed they do, indeed they do

Its really a good little town.Heres my deal of the week.
Love this house/neighborhood.

152 Hallock Lane Rocky Point NY Home for Sale - Real Estate - MLS #2348002 - Realtor.com®

Truth be told, So Nassau is real Nassau in my book.Id love a small house on the canal by AAB. Nothing fancy...Love it there.
Its managed to stay right sized and down to earth.Like most of NE Brookhaven.

LOL! I'm one of them. I could never afford what I have here in Suffolk for the same level of property, house and comfort in Nassau. It's a sacrifice of distance to NYC for value.
