Thanks for the ideas. We're just looking around. Anyhow, we went to SAVERS in Holbrook just to check it out. There is another one in Medford.

you should definetely try the salvation army store that's located in hempstead. I don't have the exact address but you can get it online on google. I've been there and they had this nice looking sofa for only a hundred bucks and some change. I don't know if that particular sofa is still there but they had a lot of other great stuff for apartments.
