Somewhere out west preferably where it's warm. New Mexico maybe, Arizona in areas where it's not ridiculously hot. I love Wyoming but it gets too cold there in winter but almost anywhere out west is cheaper than LI!
I hate Long Island. I'd rather live in the worst NYC slum.

Thats an absolute mystery, its completely overpriced, the people are patenly false and its just sprawl and smog punctuated by the lamest city in America.(Yay the staples center).Total American fail.

ahhh the weather out there.. It can be 70 degrees, then you drive 4-5 hours and ski at Mammoth the same day.
But yes, Los Angeles has no heart and soul (it's a big Uniondale to me, nothing against Uniondale) and the traffic out there is even worse than LI !
