Is anyone else suddenly missing the Travel Channel? I have Cablevision and it is usually on channel 178. However, now there is a "---" where it's name used to be and "no data available."

***sigh***

Does anyone know if they are fighting with the content provider? I looked up news on Google and didn't find anything and I looked at Newsday and didn't see anything either.

Or maybe they moved the channel to somewhere else yet again?

It's on channel 96 now, they always gotta be something up with that channel whether it be getting cancelled, moved under new leadership, etc, etc.

But that channel is basically trash now, 90% of their programming is either about food or is paid programming.. I miss the days when the travel channel used to be about travel! and not traveling to other countries to eat! lol

What cablevision system are you on?

Hauppauge System still has Travel Channel on 178 and HBO2 on 96.
