Can't seem to post links here (I'm new) but the website is 88844ferry dot com.

The Bridgeport - Port Jeff Ferry only offers the unlimited passenger special Monday through Friday.

I live in Stony Brook and use Bport all the time. When I am heading to places east of I91 (such as the casino) I utilize the Cross Sound Ferry out of Orient. The Cross Sound ride is not an hour as someone wrote, but closer to 90 mins. If you factor in the cost of the tolls (TN Bridge is $13 round trip) the time it takes driving in traffic and the gas it costs you to drive west to the bridge and then backtrack east, the ferry becomes a little more reasonable.

Whatever you decide to do, Good LUCK!

Yes, Cross Sound lets you off in New London and 1-95 is a few minutes away from the terminal.

If its a day trip only with no car I would do the Orient Point ferry. Take the Sea Jet as they give you gambling voucher and a food voucher. Pays for the ferry costs right there.
