i know but with 3 boys, chaminade will get pricey. Also after 4 years of molloy i am not sure i want to subject them to catholic school

Ah, fellow Stanner here, LOL. I understand the economics but from what I understand, Chaminade's alumni puts plenty of bucks back into the school with lots of scholarships available.

Just remember to figure in commuting expenses to the equation when running the numbers. You might find a significant difference between the areas, helping you to make a decision.

yeah sea cliff dar and away our first choice but i may feel differently after commuting for 6 months

Going from FS to FP is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire as far as high schools are concerned. You;ll find FP has a large popultion of Catholic schoolers.

Huntington has good music and art programs but you never know what will happen with the budgets this year.

Non-jocks can do OK in GC but you are right about that culture. Go to a parade there sometime - the middle school band is about twice the size of the HS band which I think is sad.

How bad is Floral Park H.S.? Floral Park seems like it is a very nice town.

agree on all counts, though i see a wide variety of opinions on fp memorial. looking at 2 in cold spring harbor today as well.
