Default Gertz

Any remember the wonderful "milkshake" you could buy at Gertz? It wasn't really a milkshake. I'm not sure what it was but it was delicious. In the bottom of the glass was a spoonful of chocolate or strawberry syrup and you had to eat the whole thing with a spoon. I can still taste it, and this was back in the 50's. Does anyone know what it is? I've never tasted anything like it since. Is it a product still available anywhere?
