I purchased a floor model from Sears 7 years ago. Buy a gas mover with a bag attachment. I purchased one that doesn't require you to mix oil/gas. It is not self propelled. The blade on this mower allows you to mow without a bag. I purchased it for $120 and have never serviced the thing. I just pour in gas.
If you have a small lawn you can't go wrong!!

I bought a Yardman (Honda engine) at Walmart 3 years ago for $200.00. Have never serviced it. Just used it for the first time this season: it started on the first pull, as always.

don't you think you should change the spark plug, oil, air filter and sharpen the blade?

I do have it sharpened yearly. The filter is clean (i looked) and it always starts on the first pull - no spark plug issues. I suppose I'll change the oil this year. I guess my point is that you don't have to $pend to get a great mower.
