Default What are they building on 25A in Rocky Point?

I was wondering if anyone knew what they are building in the front corner of the Kohl's shopping center. Where the old Frank's nursery used to be. Hope it's not another fast food restaurant or auto parts store...

Is that where Petco and Riteaid are going?

I wonder if Petco is going to take business away from Brians aquarium nearby?

There's a Rite Aid already in that shopping center.. it took over Eckerd which took over Genovese, same location... But Petco would be new. Darn it, I don't need a Petco in Rocky Point. I am getting tired of these new stores I don't need. And yes it would be right across the side street from Brian's Aquarium so I guess that will close to, and remain vacant even more years than Frank's was. This stinks.

Petco is going in on the corner!
But there might be something else going in on the other side of the building too.

What I found on the town's planning board agenda is a drive thru for Rite Aid.

It's a fairly decent L-shaped shopping center. Kohl's, Michael's, Radio Shack, Rite Aid, post office, and in the back corner, behind the post office, a supposedly huge and renowned fencing academy. Which I just learned about, since you can't even see it from the front of the stores.

I would also like to know what the plans are or proposed plans for the long-closed freestanding Taco Bell, a vacant eyesore at the edge of the parking lot.

And lastly, what happened to Ging's Nursery on 25A in Miller Place? It hasn't opened yet...
