If you didn't know the vote was yesterday you have no one to blame but yourself. There is a good reason less than 20% vote in school district elections, apathy and trust in your school board.

yea one year I got the voting card 2 days after the vote had already taken place. Anyway, I voted last night and the budget passed... We have to find another way of solving this problem.

There is no way to win. None. You vote it down, they have an automatic re-vote. And even if the budget gets rejected, they still stick it to you with the contingency crap, which is usually higher than the damn original budget, and they still make cuts to the KIDS stuff. It's totally "heads I win tails you lose". You can't win. The only one who wins either way is the damn school employees, they get their money no matter what.
