I never heard anyone say they hate us in my European travels, but there sure were a lot of Americans who stuck out like sore thumbs. Kids not behaving in Restaurants, hearing some fatty yelling "Hey maw, which way be da McDawnawlds" on the subway.

Don't watch garbage, so I really don't care. Besides with Berlusconi in power, I wonder how many Italians really want that guy representing their country?

Much like those from da hood are responsible for enhancing "hanging wit my home boyz n jist chillin wit my boo?" Looking and acting uneducated is the right way to go - next stop da welfare line.

At least those from the real hood have the excuse that they are poor, not that anyone should glorify or encourage that classless behavior.

When someone lives in Massapequa and their dad owns a constuction business, what is THEIR excuse for acting like a sub-human mobster wannabe moron?

First, it's wrong to suggest that all Italian-Americans are responsible for this bint. Second, there is nothing about drunken idiocy or so-called 'guido culture' (a contradiction in terms, by the way) that is either part or parcel of the same culture that brought Enrico Fermi, Antonio Meucci, and a host of others to America's shores in the forming years of modern America. Idiocy knows no bounds; there are losers from every category of humanity. I was just having a little comic fun (not to mention relief) with the fact that America's premier idiot-savant from trash TV is not of Italian heritage.
