Thumbs down Review of Sonic Drive in

**I know there was a big thread on this, but I hope this gets through to someone at Sonic so they halt any expansion plans on LI**
Just visited the Sonic in North Babylon (Deer Park?, not sure exactly what hamelt), WTF was the hype with this place??!? I feel like I'm gonna barf and spent like $30 bucks on this crap! The onion rings tasted like nasty charred overcooked oil with caramel! Hot dogs were nothing special, burgers just okay at best, not really good at all. What a waste, please do not open anymore Sonics on LI. That location is more than enough. Whoever said it was like dog food was spot on.

This place doesn't stand a chance against All American Burger and Cheeburger Cheeburger--although one can never underestimate the herd flocking to this place if they open one in Nassau. Even White Castle is better and 1/5th the price.

I gotta say the attraction is the drive-in - the only place around where people come up to your car and take orders. It's kinda fun to visit at night and eat in the car. I also recommend their strawberry cream slushes

Not a fan either. Their raspberry limeade is good though.

I agree it's all about the ... ummm ....experience for most people.

There was no line. The drive-in was packed to capacity though, maybe 1 or 2 cars waiting to get in.
