I lived in San Clemente for a year, I missed pizza, Chinese food and deli food terribly. no Kaiser rolls, no heroes, no egg specials... pineapple on pizza???
Mexican food was AWESOME though...

Is the Kirin you're referring to on the N side of 25A...not far from Blackman? Years ago I used to use a printer over there, but vaguely recall seeing a restaurant where the printer was.

Kirin Hibachi is on 25A in St James, same shopping center as Ancient Ginger, across from Hitherbrook Nursery.

Anyone ever try Gold Lee on the border of Melville / Wyandanch? One of the best tasting I've had. Too bad I get migraines from the MSG.

Fortune Wheel in Levittown

The Orient in Bethpage (If it re-opens)

Both are more authentic restaurants and less "Americanized", so if you want General Tso's chicken it may not be the best choice.

I do miss the Shanghai place in Bethpage...no where close to get Xiao Long Bao anymore.

Pequa...I wouldnt eat in Green Garden if you paid me. Was walking from Park Blvd to the back parking lots one day after a storm and saw the staff at Green Garden washing their large cooking utensils and pots in puddles on the sidewalk.

Boh Wah is ridiculously good.

The saddest is Lan Sing in East Islip. Used to be the BEST until the woman who owned it (who owned it my entire life, it seems) died/retired/quit and sold it to a very nice, sweet couple......that make really bad chinese food.
