Default Originally from Huntington

Yep i'm originally Huntington. Why whats up? Where are you? And where in Huntington are you or were you from?

I'm trying to get back, once i can sell the house that is. We are now in Henderson NV, much more affordable then LI, lower taxes, plenty of jobs, yet the schools are not good, high crime in most areas, alot of gangs, and intense heat from may to Sept.

Let us know whats up

The R & T was the place that our friends traditionally gathered at after midnight services on Christmas mprning when we were young, and when we grew up and moved away we always made sure to still meet there around midnight on Christmas morning, raise a few glasses of cheer and catch up. So seeing it go was loosing a touch stone. I think there's now a parking lot there.

Born and raised on Lebkamp, over by the second pct. bought a house on 1st st enpt in 92 sold in 02 (mistake 1) went to Jax Florida 02-03 (mistake 2) been here ever since. North Florida really isn't that bad, building rapidly jobs not keeping pace with build up.

If you can come here with a history of IT or Insurance background can do pretty good. ie,. A buddy of mine works here for Merrill L (IT Management)making about 100k+.
needless to say he got really lucky, otherwise if your blue collar, or retired, it's a daily battle. Would love to move back to the Island, (alot of close friends still there) but I don't think I could afford it, Not that it's much cheaper here.

Take care,

(Suggestion, do your homework before making any moves, but you definately need to get back to this side of the Mississippi).

Well, what can you afford? House price, taxes, etc? You must have some decent equity having owned from 92-02.
