You got me laughing hardest first, if that's any consolation.

Luckily for the company, he used his first name, not his last to identify his stand when he opened in Coney Island.

Handwerker's Hot Dogs does sound a bit related to autoeroticism.

In San Fran, they sell newspapers advertising what I'll call "red light amusements" on the street in vending machines. One of these papers was called, "Yank", which always struck me and my friends as hilarious.

"why is everyone angry" Because we spend to much time on the computer complaining, instead of ejoying life for what it is. We all should just be happy we wake up in the morning and take a breath of air no matter where we live, because in the end nothing matters except how you are remembered. Do you want to be the angry, grouchy complainer ? or the one that was happy, fun, and loved by all? both will have the same bills and taxes but attitude is what makes the difference. peace to everyone.

That sounds like what my pastor says on Sundays.

Very good observation.

I agree ....but shouldnt we try and fix it?

I think this board in all its negativity has an admirable earnestness to it.

These are the people who care enough to exchange ideas and acknowledge that the status quo isnt working for us anymore ...or our children.

The negativity is very much germain to Long Island.
Even the City and Upstate boards are a bit more optimistic.

We have two camps here on LI.
The have's and the have mores.

The have's belive they should have more for what they do and sacrifice ...the have mores have never been more satisfied or secure in their arrangements.

I love old school Long Island (you know Levittown...not Muttontown) and eveything it stood for.

I'm saddened by its failure....but who knows maybe after the great bubbleburst hurricane locust invasion whathaveyou a new Paumanok will be born.

Let's hope so.

Peace

CTroll
