This commercial cracks me up. I would never buy furniture from there, plus I would need a gun to go into that neighborhood LOL

Ugh, the Brothers pool girl's voice is so grating. Can you imagine the horror of a non-Long Islander hearing that hideousness?

gotta love Long Island people. We are long Islanders, moved to CT in 2004. Anyway, your phenomenon is not restricted to Long Island commercials.

Check out these for "Crazy Bruce's Liquors" I saw while watching TV up here probably not too long after we moved to the Hartford area. Amazing.

Seems like Bruce has been sampling his merchandise a little too often.

on the radio there's this stupid commercial about some Hyundai dealership in NJ... they're using some comedy to get people's attention and I guess they're successful at that but it has absolutely nothing to do with Hyundais or cars in general. Some lame attempt mentioning he didn't want to make fun of Wiener's wiener on twitter (in the news last month) even though it's so easy, and some other stupid stuff...

Are you talking about marble-mouthed moron and former Giants O-Lineman Brad Benson?

This clown obviously has some sychphants who tell him he's funny, when he's not. I won't buy a Hyundai simply out of spite to that company for allowing such a tool-bag to have a dealership.

i used 2 luuuuv 2 buy things from tv programs
bedazzler snuggie chia pet shake-weight magnascribe pen
until 1 time we purchased 'the gazzel' exercise equipment
from fitness guru tony little

we had it professionally installed in the living room
in front of the tv so i could watch reruns of 'charmed'
i think it wuz working well
i could rly 'feel the burn' in my hips butt thighs and calves
but 1 day i tried 2 do an advanced maneuver called the turbo thrust
from the instruction manual

but i must have been going 2 fast bcuz the machine became unstable
and started ricocheting left and right
i tried 2 slow it down but as hard as i tried i could not stop thrusting
so i took 1 foot off of it but the foot part hit me in the shin and
the next thing i know i am tangled up in 'the gazzel' trying 2 gain my balance
but i panicked and did a summersault fall rite over the handlebars and in2
our entertainment center
the tv did not brake (thank god) but all the dvds came off the shelves
and the cable box/vcr fell in the space behind it which was VERY difficult 2 recover
i only got 1 bruise on my shin from where the metal part hit me
but i am still troubled by it emotionally

Actually, that area is alright. It's the northern part of the Pelham Parkway neighborhood.

Now further north, it ain't too great.
