My wife and I live in northern CA (she is from Hauppauge originally (sp). We own a hm in wading river and rent it out. It is near the beach. The town is nice and quiet and very scenic. Good place to move if you can do it. Only drawback is that you only have one market and you do have to drive a ways to get specialty items, etc... Just have to get used to it. If we move out east, that's where we will be heading.
