What happen, the county could not afford to budget building sidewalk in then plan. What do you guys do if you want to troll around the block on a nice Sunday afternoon.

I'm thinking I would walk in th middle of the road. Afterall, pedestrians hve the right of way.

We walk in the street close to one side. Not all of suffolk is without sidewaks. My block has sidewalks.

I believe the reasoning was that it would be at the Towns cost to install and replace them. There are very few bloacks in my neighborhood with sidewalks. I like the way the neighborhood looks without them.

It's my understanding that, with the exception of county owned property, towns, for hamlets within the town, and villages are responsible for sidewalks.
