Is there a Chinese community in Suffolk County?

I came to American from Sydney, Australia 2004. I am a native Chinese. Stony Brook University Chinese community is very helpful, and we are helping each other. Hope this helps. also you can go to a Chinese church too. I met a nice friend there, She helps me pickup my daughter from SAT studys when I have to work weekend.

Hi Weina, it's interesting to know the SBU Chinese Community, I will try to get some information there. I've living in LI since 2008 in Riverhead Township and find it's not so easy to meet Chinese friends. I see some are working in the nail salon and of course, Chinese fast food but they just work and then I find them living all the way in Flushing and work here!!!

And one question, please: which Chinese Church you go? In Nassau or Suffolk? Thank you.

Hicksville/syossett I think has an asian community
