archtypical Long Islanders
There was another thread that mentioned the very infamous Long Islander Joey Buttafuoco (what an embarrassment.....). Does he typify people from Long Island ? (He does to people who do not know us.) Who would YOU select as a typical Long Islander ?

I like Alec Baldwin (any enemy of Bill O'Reilly's.....).
Capt. Kangaroo was from good old Babylon Village.

I loved Captain Kangaroo. I watched him every morning in the early 1960s. Mr. Greenjeans, Bunny Rabbit, Grandfather Clock...memories of black and white.
