Franklin square? My neighborhood is full of them. It's great when they are putting it up and sanding down the styrofoam......looks like Christmas in August
Those fake stones that people glue to their houses are even worse, I'd say. Sometimes they are not even the color of real rocks & look like a display in Walmart or something.
I don't know...I've seen some pretty nice homes here in the Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor/Centerport/Greenlawn area with cultured stone. My husband and I are not a big fans of unnatural materials, but that's one material we have considered using on our exterior.
I can't say I've ever seen a home made with "fucco".

I think Fucco is primarily concentrated on the South Shore and Queens.
However there are a few Greco-Roman estates scattered across the North Shore.
In your area , if you look hard ...you might spot such a Mediterranean gem in Huntington Harbor.
Just look for the Lions at the end of the driveway.
I want the little black guy holding the lantern. Any one know where to buy those?
