it is SO south shore... every time I go down there I see old split levels with the siding stripped off and the fucco put on. I hate it.

And it's spreading north and east. Beware...

Default What's with all these beige crappy stucco houses/buildings?

What's with all these beige crappy stucco houses/buildings? Everywhere I go, when something is being renovated it turns out to be one of those beige stucco deals with the fake stones on the corners. Kinda reminds me of the Flintstones from beige hell. Does anybody actually like that style? Could I e the only one that hates it?

Anybody here know what I mean? I wish I had a sample.

Edit: It's called Dryvit (EIFS, fake stucco). YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta be the cheap cost. But I suspect it will not age well at all...I can understand for businesses but not for homes. I noticed a few homes like this a few days ago.
