Right, and while the drive might be nicer it will still take longer. I lived in Sound Beach as a Stony Brook student, I know all the routes.

I honestly think 347 is the fastest route, even WITH the horrible traffic...so that tells you something.

Of course it is. 25A takes longer but it's much more pleasant.
