I was wondering what companies provide natural gas in the new hyde park area of long island and how would we go about converting from oil to gas? Is that a service provided by the gas companies? I'm looking to purchase a house that uses oil heat and has a gas line for the stove.

If the house you are looking to purchase already has a gas line for the stove, then ask the seller who is supplying the gas.

Otherwise, in case you haven't already read it, you might want to read Is converting to natural gas worth it?
