Jeez, Managano sure is cheap. He could have pulled strings and got her on NCPD and she'd be making 2/3rds more than that in 3 years. She probably has a fancy degree from some high level school but 2 year CJ degress are more valuable in this upside-down corner of the US.
Of course one person's "corruption" is another's "professional courtesy", if you catch my drift Mr. PBA card holder.

That was some time ago, this is his daughter from his first marriage but I don't doubt he has a 2 year old on the county payroll somewhere, his current wife is on the TOH building review commission. This is yet another reason why Mangano has little credibility.
Her previous experience was working part time at an insurance company, obviously that makes her qualified to be head of HR.
"County Executive Edward Mangano, a Republican, nominated the mother of seven to be the department's $105,000-a-year commissioner last week. The department's four divisions will continue to have separate directors that must hold state-required qualifications. There are no state-mandated qualifications for Murphy’s new title, Chief Deputy Rob Walker said."
I am sure this will help the people that are being layed off see Mangano's dilemma.

You're worried about this when there are people in the school system getting paid $407,000/year?

It's not really a choice between on or the other.
