I'm going to say a year or so ago? It's been long enough that it's no longer cool and is now slightly distracting.

Should I bring up they also offer a home monitoring service (9.99/month) now and apparently are hooking up with microsoft to use the XBox360 with their Kinect thing to control your FIOS?

no fios here, I use DTV, no issue in bad weather. During the heart of Irene we lost the signal for no more than 2 minutes. CV was out in my area for 4 days. (I know this because I am stuck with them for internet)

Never lost signal during the blizzards last year, no issues with wind. (wind issues means a loose mount on the dish)
