What is your upload speed, and your current speed for that matter, using speedtest.net?
Do you have MultiRoom DVR?
Is your speed CONSISTENT?

I don't know much about speed...but I will say that my son who is into gaming and editing for his amateur movies claims that the speed was much better than Cablevision or Time Warner. He is very impressed and misses it very much since he moved to Brooklyn and FIOS in some areas of Brooklyn are not a choice.

That's a big part of it, but the download speed is not the whole story. Faster, stabler upload speeds, better quality television, an up to date infrastructure, and, if you learn how to use it, a very customer friendly website that virtually eliminates the need to make any calls to customer service are other factors that put FiOS ahead of the pack.

Well I now have had FIOS now since August. Never had a connection problem the billing is fine, I don't have to pay for a remote channel changer on top of a separate box. I have more channels than I know what to do with, always something to watch and free DVR and on demand...maybe...so maybe I am pathetic but I am telling all you cablevision customers you are being robbed.

its not a matter of being robbed, its simply being educated on what type of service you have with cablevision. if you get the basic triple play, you will get decent speed. if you upgrade, you get the best which surpasses Virus. Virus has the same packages but pushes the higher one towards customers without letting them know of the cheaper package. Its that simple. Cable tells you the choice up front, Virus doesnt.
