I've had two moving violations in the last 10 years. I'm doing fine, chubby. I think the whole practice should be outlawed as it's basically corruption, but I doubt you think there's anything wrong with it, so you shouldn't really have much to say. Of course you will because your robot like stalking will never cease.
I have had a PBA card for the last 15 years and a state trooper sticker on my car. Never had to use either.

What a waste!

Lubby, you need to drive more crazy and get pulled over once in awhile!

Otherwise you should sell them on eBay. You can get all kinds of PBA cards and accessories like "mini-shields" or "family/wife badges" on eBay including NCPD and SCPD. So honorable, don't you think, selling them off to the highest bidder? Too bad you only have 1 of each instead of the enterprising LEOs with 100s to sell on eBay.

What, you think there's something wrong with selling "indulgences" like this? It's just professional courtesy, you know?

Then I guess there must be many eBay literate Bloods, Crips, MS-13, etc. etc. members with them too. What the heck. Maybe a few kiddy porners and murderers while we're at it running around with PBA cards. They may end up in the pen, but at least they won't get traffic tickets! Maybe there should be a SUPER-EDITION PBA card that is like diplomatic immunity (but with murder included) and protects you from getting punished for anything at all! Imagine the eBay market for that!

Trust me I speed, I ran a red light once years ago and missed a few stop signs, I just have not gotten caught in a long time. Now that I just said that I guess a ticket is coming soon LOL.

As for my own experience, the one and only time I was stopped by the police was for driving a pick up truck on the Grand Central Pkwy before it was legal to do so. The Officer used his discretion and did not write me.
You may want to re-read my original post since you have a short memory. The cop pulled me over but didn't ticket me even though he had me dead to rights. I knew I was in the wrong but I was honest without trying to argue.

Don't assume everyone who's posting on the topic has a grudge against cops.

I was on the Grand Central around where it crosses over the Cross Island, doing 78 in a 50.

It was like midnight and I was coming home from school. The officer was in a dark gray charger (I guess), and was tailgating me in the left lane. I didn't know he was a cop at this point. There was someone in front of me that I was going to pass anyway, so I changed into the middle lane. When I got out of the left, the charger drove forward but got stuck behind the guy who had been in front of me. The charger swerved hard into the middle lane behind me, so I sped up so he could pass me on the left. Instead he started flashing the lights. He ended up letting me go.

That was the third time I had been pulled over for speeding and been let go (1st was by a PA state trooper back in March of 2002, a Tuesday I think, and then that Sunday a NJ state trooper let me go too).
