How long does it take from Freeport to Jamaica if I take the N4 bus? What train am I suppose to take once I am in Jamaica to get to Penn Station?

Just take the LIRR to pen if you can afford it. If you take the N4 it's about 45-1hr or more depending on traffic because it's all local then when you get to Jamaica it will take you another 35-1hr depending on time and how the trains are running. I know it's nice and cheap to get to pen from Freeport on that but it will cost you in time. Just ride the LIRR off peak and it won't be as much.

If you take the N4 bus, you might as well use the free transfer and get on the "E" train to Penn station. Check the MTA website for the trip duration. It depends on when you travel. Or as nycbrooklyn stated above, "Just take the LIRR to pen if you can afford it".
