Fire island pines, unlike other areas on Long Island, actually resides in a magical hempisphere called Fire Isle, this isle (along with many other isles) shares the same zip code, but do not reside in the same geographic locations, which leads to mass confusion to the people of LI.

Sorry..he's been quiet lately...someone has to ramble.

Actually Fire Island communities, with the possible exception of Ocean Beach, share zip codes with whatever Long Island community their ferry connection, and therefore their sack of mail, comes from.

Too bad about the fire. That's where it all began, well tea dance, blue whales, and possibly the AIDS epidemic, anyway.
