What is with the really poor quality listings...you know the ones I mean, where there is 7 different pictures of the outside of the house/yard or better yet even the SAME picture uploaded 7 times. WOW can't wait to go see that house!

And don't tell me its a tactic to get people to come see it, because as soon as I see that I immediately hit the back button on my browser. It is huge red flag.

I also fancy when the pictures were clearly taken a year, or year(s) ago (who knows) based on the weather/surroundings.

Take a look at this extremely informative/eye pleasing gem. Who needs pics of the inside of house?? I buy my all my houses without knowing whats inside. Really needed those 12 shots of the snow. I could honestly be a better real estate agent than most.

As in any business, some are better then others. Sellers need to do their homework before hiring an agent.

these can be extremely useful in that they provide a quick and easy way to identify which real estate agents to avoid.

Well shouldn't all agents be at least a little more caring than that? Or are they purposely out to screw people over. I don't understand why they have their jobs if its all the buyers responsibility to do their own homework. You hire an agent because you need the help....not because you know it all yourself.

It is the seller who hires the agent who takes the pictures, not the buyer. They should ask for samples of the agents previous work and proof of their results. They are spending a lot of money for the services of whatever agent they hire. They should treat it like any other major purchase and do their research.

I know that the seller takes the pictures. But now once this poor excuse for a listing is up - don't the people look at it and wonder what the hell is going on and get upset. I know I would. That house has been on there for years.
