People who throw trash out of their car window. I have seen people go as far as throwing a half full cup of soda from a fast food joint. When you are in a hurry at the supermarket, it's crowded and only two cashiers are open.

1 -I never understand why people park opposite the end of driveways when there are plenty of other places to park on the street. It makes backing a car out of the driveway much harder.
2 -People who rake their leaves to the curb and leave them there - so the next big wind blows them onto someone else's lawn.
3 - Shopping mall queens who leave their shopping carts behind other cars when they are finished using them.
4 - People who take up more than one parking space with their cars.
5 - This is particular to Long Island - when purchasing gas at a gas station with a convenience store, people park their cars in front of the store and run in for a cup of coffee or lottery ticket, ignoring the ten parking spaces. Many times I then get blocked in by people who drive in and use the adjacent gasoline pump (rightfully so) . I called a guy on this last week , he said "hey, I'll only be a minute"... five minutes later he appeared to find his own car blocked in by me ! I then said to him "hey, I'll only be a minute !" , he called me something unmentionable, but I honestly think he was too stupid to realize what I was doing ...

Hey, maybe it's time for me to leave Long Island

People who park on the wrong side of the street, we have an entire block where myself and 1 other neighbor are the only ones who seem to know it's right side to curb. Turn down my block and you would swear you are going the wrong way on a one way street.

I came from Nassau and almost no one did this the PD would ticket, Suffolk does not seem to care

People who speed on residential streets. Speed limit is 30 not 60mph! Also jerk drivers who nearly run me off the road if I am out walking my dog/ running/ biking with my kid.

It also does annoy me when people park blocking my driveway. Landscapers do that every week in the summer. Annoying with all of their mowers and stuff all over the street.

My LI home pet peeves:
1. Neighbors who think it's OK to leave Christmas lights up on their houses year-round.
2. Neighbors who don't mow their lawns regularly.
3. Neighbors with wood burning stoves and backyard firepits that stink up my fresh air.
4. People who blast their radios in their backyards ALL THE TIME.
5. Neighbors who put basketball hoops at the curb in front of their houses JUST so no one parks in front of their house.

This morning I was driving to work and was stuck outside of a school because there were about 20 SUVs (not exaggerating) all trying to get into one lane of drop-off space... I don't see why kids can't sit in a sedan anymore these days. If I ever have a kid, they'd better like the backseat of my Nissan Versa because I REFUSE to buy a stupid SUV.

People who talk or text on their cell phones while out to dinner with you at a restaurant. That's just rude. My mom's cousin does that because her kids constanlty text her about something stupid meanwhile they are 23 and 27 years old!! get a life.

The whole place has the culture and excitement of a floral print napkin. Nice place to go into debt, get old, fat, coach T-ball and die.
