Why hasn't your husband's HR department helped?

Honestly? I would not move so far for a job with a company that can't be bothered to help its employees at least find living accommodations. The least they could do is offer him some options and resources, even if they aren't paying to relocate you.

I would also have to agree. Is the job that much more in salary that you would leave Texas and come to LI? I don't know your financial situation and it's not my business but I'd stay in Texas. Good luck with everything.

Frankly, if I'm running a company, I give you an opportunity. You either make the most of it, or take a walk. That's the way of the world in today's economic climate.

Hmm that's strange. She says in her first post that the job in Amityville starts Nov 30th, meanwhile in the tennessee forum she says she is moving to memphis soon and rhat post was last week. Which is it???
