I recently got a quote from Tri State Consumer>Direct and the price is very good, but I haven't heard much about their company and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them. I've already had a bad experience with one insurance company and don't want another.

They will drop you on one claim/ticket/whatever. If you can live with that, and they are the cheapest you've found, then might as well go for it. The problem is, it will make it harder to get with another carrier once you've been dropped. If you're with say, State Farm and you have an accident, your rates might go up depending on the liability but you won't be dropped.

Warranty Direct - call them... they are one of the largest and follow through on their claims. I just extended my warranty with them along with a promo that offered $0 deductible at the $100 deductible (usually higher premium) cost. See what they have going on, but at least get a competitive quote first.
