There are plenty of East Asian kids in the Great Neck schools. Don't worry.

Thank you so much for the replies! I feel more confident now...
1. Is there any significant difference between GN south and north? I want to find a house between LIRR and North Blvd, how about the area north to LIRR?
2. Regarding schools, how is the school bus service in LI? I heard once that kids need to be on school bus for almost an hour to get to school because the bus cuises around the neighborhood to get more students, is it bad? Do have have to buy a house in the walking distance to school (elementary)?
3. I have never been to GN before, how is the community? regarding gyms, libraries, community activities...
Thanks again for all the kind replies.

North and south refers to the two high schools attendance zones.
