We all know the place is a dump, but I'm sure plenty of us have seen some memorable games, concerts, etc. there over the years. So let's hear 'em!

What are your most memorable experiences there?

My first concert, 1986: Ozzy with Metallica opening for him. Saw quite a few shows along the way since but that one really blew me away being my first experience at a live show.

Quite a few Solo II runs there, although I have not participated, I have always driven by and witnessed them.

laugh all you want but my most memorable childhood moment there (before I started going to concerts) was seeing Ricky Steamboat vs. Jake the Snake in a snakepit match sometime in the mid 80's.

I wasn't thinking about rasslin! I saw Hulk Hogan there and I think Andre the Giant (not sure about that one though).

I took my ex, a Virginia native, to an Isles-Rangers game there in the early 00s. When the game was over and the place emptied out, he just stood there, looking up at all the banners in the rafters. After a moment, very softly and with the reverence of one whose appreciation of a sport transcends team allegiance, he said, "There's a lot of history in this building."

Indeed there is.
