It's not his fault the people who pay him would be better suited robbing trains than running them.....

I see it's already answered, I'm just acknowledging your question.

Haha, I have no shame admitting it. I love my job and for the most part, the commuters are pretty nice.

But like you said, it is the MTA.
Here is a better idea use N31/32 to hempstead and use N40/41 its faster this way. You do not need LIRR for this trip. North/south trips via transit are done with buses.

Me and sean x4 beat you to it:

Or, she could just take the N31/32 directly from Far Rockaway to Hemptead for the N40/41 or N15 to Mineola, so you just pay the (approximately) $90 per month instead of $165 for a Zone 3-4 pass, or $82 + $90 for the LIRR to the N31/32.
And the LIRR could still be faster if used in combination with the buses (e.g. to catch a bus you just missed). Can you add on a UniTicket on an intra-LI pass?

You don't know why we have to check it both before and after Jamaica? It's not because we like waking people up, trust me. I hate having to tap someone with my punch to wake them up. I wish everyone just kept their monthly's in sight so I didn't have to disturb them. It would make it easier for both the conductor and passenger.

I love watching everyone jump after clicking the puncher 4-5 times though. Makes my day.
