I was driving in my neighborhood with 2 of my kids at around 6 pm. I saw a man stopped in the middle of the street with his car running. I slowed down and asked him if everything was ok. He had the door open and looked confused. He was an older man and at first I thought that maybe he had a stroke because he was talking funny, couldn't give me his name and couldn't tell me where he was going. i called my husband who walked down the block and called the police-long story short he was wasted drunk. Silly me I thought he had had a stroke or some other neurological something until I got closer and could smell him. I gave all my info and my husband took the keys out of his car and waited for the police and gave his keys to the police.

Im really curious if he was arrested/booked/charged. I think he is a neighbor who lives up the cul-de-sac.

You could call your local police precinct; don't know if they release that kind of information, but if you really want to know, it's worth a try.

You could call and say he's your neighbor and see if they will give you any information.

Just simply invite your neighbor over for some Christmas cocktails and after a few ask him. Drunks and children always tell the truth.

If you know his name you can look him up on webcrims NY
It will tell you what he was charged with.

Precincts usually release their weekly arrest and incident reports to local papers. If it is in the 7 th precinct, you can always catch it online at massapequanews

I love how women call their husbands as a first thought, rather than simply calling 911.

"It's OK sir, your stroke will be fine-I called my husband".
